Notes from Sara Louise Funk Oct 2001:

While quite young they moved to Hamilton OH and when she was seven years old her parents moved to Winchester, Randolph Co. In.


She was married to William Turner in 1839 and to them were born thirteen children, nine of whom survive. they are:

    Married Lutita Alice Hinshaw 9-2-1854, 8-19-1912, Talene Mote Todd

were born near Winchester.

were born south of Union City.

About 1879 they moved bear Pennville, jay Co.

There are thirty-three grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and a great number of relatives and friends.  About seven years she has been confined to her bed, suffering almost constantly suffering that time. Funeral services were conducted at the home of her daughter, Lucinda, Mrs, Warren C Gregg, Tuesday at 1pm Interment in Hillside Cemetery Pennville IN

Margaret Turner was born 7 th.  month, 30th day, 1818

Departed this life November 17,  1906, aged 88 years, 3 months, 18 days.

She was born near Milford, OH.  was the daughter of  John and Matilda Monks;  while quite young, they moved to Hamilton,  OH. and when she was seven years old her parents moved to Winchester, Randolph Co., IN.

 

She was married to William Turner in 1839  and to them were born thirteen children,  nine of

whom survive.  They are John,  Elmira,  Susannah,  Thomas,  Elizabeth,  Cyrus F.,   and

Matilda J.,   were all born near Winchester.  Julia,  William H.,  Mary Eliza,  Jesse,  Lucinda,

and Emma,  were born south of Union City. 

 

About the year 1879 they moved near Pennville,  Jay Co., 

There are thirty-three grandchildren,  twenty-one great grandchildren and a great number of

relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the home of her daughter,  Lucinda,  Mrs,  Warren C.

Gregg,  Tuesday at 1  pm.  Interment in Hillside Cemetery.
